Who this is for…
Have you ever gathered a group of people together (perhaps a staff or a board) with the intention of laying out plans for the upcoming year(s)? Have you ever been frustrated when those plans only remain on paper? Sometimes the right action doesn’t always yield the fruit you were hoping for.
Facilitating
A facilitator is one who makes an action or process easier. Gerad desires to see staff teams and boards be wildly successful and part of that process is having effective strategic meetings that are focused on long range planning (1+ year(s)). Gerad will serve your team as a facilitator in helping prepare, facilitate and follow-up with a strategic planning session(s). Regardless of the format, the key element is that Gerad is there to draw the best out of you and your team; not to be the expert.
Format Options
Option A: 1 year planning – Dedicated to maximizing resources and setting the team up to all pull in the same direction.
Option B: 3-5 year planning – Designed towards identifying the unique gifts of your team and build a long term strategy based on whose on the bus.
Option C: Culture Defining – Focused on learning what is distinctively true of you and your team as well as what is falsely perceived as well as what is accidentally true.
Endorsements
“Gerad Hall has proven himself to be a helpful catalyst for clarity and an experienced voice of practical wisdom for two different nonprofit boards on which I have served. He hosted a board retreat and led us to articulate and clarify our priorities which aided us in establishing our five-year plan. On another occasion he assisted us in coming to agreement about our most strategic next hire in the organization. His data gathering exercises and guided conversations allowed all voices to be heard in a way that helped us hear each other and come to greater unity of purpose and focus our strategic planning efforts. We have also consulted with Gerad on crafting job descriptions and hiring procedures. His insights always bring value to the conversation.” – Tim M.
